Comedy Course - Tunbridge Wells
A fun, engaging, and educational experience for beginners in both improv and stand-up, culminating in an exciting showcase with an opportunity to perform in front of an audience.
Fancy challenging yourself to do a stand-up comedy performance?
This 4 session course will provide a fun and supportive environment for beginners to explore their comedic talents and gain foundational skills in both stand-up and improv comedy.
Everyone will prepare a 3 minute set (with some help!) that they will perform in the showcase at on the 20th March - friends and family can come along to watch (no-one else - a nice friendly audience!). They’ll be some improv in the showcase too which we’ll be great at by then!
We’ll play games and do exercises that will make us laugh, help us to generate material and improve our improv skills. You’ll fine tune your set over the period and conquer perhaps one of the biggest challenges you’ll ever face when you perform (life is easier after you’ve done stand-up)!
No prior preparation or experience (or material - yet!) necessary.
The course is led by the brother and sister team of Mike and Mags Jubb.
