Intro to Comedy - Tunbridge Wells
Fancy some stress-free fun trying out some comedy?
This course will provide a fun and supportive environment for beginners to explore their comedic talents and gain foundational skills in both stand-up and improv comedy.
We’ll play games and do exercises that will make us laugh and get us all comfortable with standing up and having a go!
No prior preparation or experience necessary.
Added bonus: Improves your confidence for public speaking. Once you’ve done comedy, every presentation/speech you make afterwards feels like a walk in the park.
The evening is led by the brother and sister team of Mike and Mags Jubb.

Your material you will write/perform is allowed to be a little rude, cheeky, tongue in cheek ... that’s comedy ... but we don't accept any material or behaviour that is overly offensive, racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic ... etc.. you get the idea!
You agree to letting us know during the course if any behaviour is offending you. We will do our best to make ourselves available for discreet conversations.
By booking a place on this comedy course you are agreeing to the refund and rules policy: Full refunds up to 7 days before the course starts, no refunds after that date (but get in touch anyway and we will see if we can help sort a different date).
We reserve the right to refuse enrolment to people we feel will not adhere to the above rules and we reserve the right to remove people from the course if they do not adhere to the above rules or to any guidance given at the event.
